What does Zaron actually do?+
We turn spatial, field and operational data into decisions: GIS analysis, dashboards, field data-capture apps and purpose-built platforms — then train your team to run them.
Do you work with start-ups and large organisations?+
Yes — from start-ups and SMMEs to corporates, government, UN agencies, donors and universities. Smaller teams usually start with one of our ready-to-deploy products; larger programmes get a scoped, phased build.
Do we need GIS, Power BI or Tableau licences?+
No. Our own light GIS and dashboard apps run in the browser on open standards, with no per-seat desktop or viewer licences — share a link and anyone you approve can open it. If you've already invested in ArcGIS, QGIS, Power BI or Tableau, we import your work or build on those platforms instead.
Can government and SOEs procure from you?+
Yes. We're registered on the Central Supplier Database (supplier number MAAA0045120) as a 100% black-owned, B-BBEE Level 1 enterprise (135% procurement recognition), and tax-compliant. Compliance documents are available on request.
What is an AI agent, in practice?+
A working layer that reads your reports, news and data, summarises what changed, flags risks and drafts briefs — so your team reviews and decides instead of compiling. A person always approves what goes out.
How do you handle security and personal data?+
Security by design: role-based access, audit trails, encrypted connections and the minimum personal data the job needs, handled in line with POPIA, GDPR and local data-protection law. In-country hosting is available where your data must stay at home.
Will it work with our existing systems?+
That's where we start. We connect to the SQL Server, SharePoint, GIS layers or spreadsheets you already have before recommending anything new.
What does a project cost?+
Every engagement is scoped after a short discovery call, and you receive a written proposal with costs before any work starts. Products from our ready-to-deploy range cost less and go live faster.
